Purpose of This Blog

In attending support group meetings over the years, I have witnessed and learned that simply showing up and honestly sharing your reality is a gift to the people around you. In authentically showing up and sharing, not only do you allow yourself to be seen and known, which that right there is a gift and honor to receive, for both the giver and the receiver, but doing so opens up a space. I have witnessed Allah do amazing things for people with this space, including healing.

In meetings, through listening to others share:

  • Allah has shown me what to do next in my life journey

  • Allah has granted me healing

  • Allah has given me validation

  • I have experienced connection and loss of loneliness, especially when I have resonated strongly with someone else’s share; Allah shows me I’m not alone.

  • Allah has taught me about Him and the Reality He’s created in Creation, thereby gently helping me step away from a fantasy or a false belief and step into His Truth in His Creation.

  • Allah has taught me about adulting and how to show up in my adult; He helps me grow, mature and change

  • Allah has strengthened my faith and trust in Him

  • Allah has inspired me in countless ways

  • I experienced encouragement, support, safety and love

And the list just keeps going.

I have received so much from others, I wish to pay it forward. I hope and pray that these sharing and offerings can serve in your life, what has generously been given to me: Love, Light, Mercy, Compassion and the gentle reminder that you’re not alone. May Allah inspire us, through one another. May He create a network of light so bright, it brightens and heals the world in wonderfully unexpected ways. May He allow us to witness it happening. Ameen.
